Responsibilities

Develop and maintain software to automate infrastructure operations and support seamless deployments.
Evaluate and implement solutions for business needs and assess their outcomes.
Define and enforce operations, development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps standards.
Perform maintenance and monitoring for cloud infrastructure systems and services.
Monitor application performance and service-level indicators.
Respond to and initiate incident response for high-severity site reliability issues.
Implement and enforce infrastructure and application security controls.
Research industry best practices and improvement opportunities.
Develop and train Site Reliability Engineers on relevant technologies and practices.
Monitor and steward infrastructure and development-related costs.
Evaluate solutions with product vendors and negotiate contract agreements.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Systematic, organized, accurate, thorough, and timely approach to assignments.
Ability to explain complex processes clearly and concisely.
Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and solve problems.
Ability to collaborate and work independently.
Strong leadership skills and ability to develop and guide others.
High school diploma or GED required.
7+ years of related work experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred.
Professional certifications in cloud engineering programs preferred.
