Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software to automate infrastructure operations and support seamless deployments.
- Evaluate and implement solutions that meet business needs.
- Define and enforce operations, development, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps standards.
- Perform maintenance and monitoring for cloud infrastructure systems and services.
- Monitor application performance and service-level indicators.
- Respond to and initiate incident responses for high-severity site reliability issues.
- Implement and enforce infrastructure and application security controls.
- Research best practices and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and train Site Reliability Engineers.
- Monitor and steward infrastructure and development-related costs.
- Evaluate product vendors and negotiate contract agreements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 7+ years of related work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science preferred.
- Professional certifications in cloud engineering programs preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, collaboration, initiative, and leadership skills.
