Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Analytics teams to understand requirements, provide technical options and trade-offs, and establish timelines.
- Collaborate with Android, iOS, Backend, QA, and ML engineers to design and implement scalable technical solutions.
- Write reusable, scalable, and testable backend code and deliver high-quality features on schedule.
- Review code and engineering specifications, provide constructive feedback, and raise engineering standards.
- Participate in on-call duty by triaging, debugging, mitigating, and fixing complex issues.
- Assist other teams with ad hoc technical queries.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience in distributed systems environments.
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Go, C++, or Python.
- Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and system design principles.
- Experience developing large-scale, high-throughput distributed systems.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, including auto-scaling and resource management.
