Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications and backend microservices using Java and Angular.
- Build scalable RESTful services and backend integrations.
- Develop high-performance user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML5, and SCSS.
- Apply object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns to produce maintainable code.
- Implement unit and integration testing, participate in code reviews, and enforce coding standards.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues and contribute throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of backend development experience using Java, with Java 11/17+ preferred.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, microservices architecture, and dependency injection frameworks such as Spring, Guice, or Dagger.
- Experience with asynchronous and non-blocking programming, RxJS, Reactive Forms, component-based architecture, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS/Sass.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and working with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including query optimization and database performance.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Agile environments and upper-intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Angular 16/17, Standalone Components, Signals, OnPush Change Detection, Angular Material, CDK, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, cloud platforms, monorepo architectures, feature flags, large-scale distributed systems, e-commerce, pricing, promotions, and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
