Base Salary
$150k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and modernization of the Distribution platform.
- Take ownership of existing Distribution systems and understand their architecture.
- Set standards for development quality and participate in on-call rotations.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and tech talks.
- Drive improvements in processes and technologies to meet business goals.
- Produce clean, quality code and improve delivery efficiency.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in building and supporting production web applications.
- Experience with legacy code and a passion for improving it.
- Deep knowledge of front-end technologies like TypeScript, Next.js, and React.
- Strong experience with web-based architectures using Java/Spring or similar stacks.
- Proven track record in designing and evolving web services and APIs.
- Comfort with operational realities of distributed systems.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and strong communication skills.
- Preferred knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture, PCI, and SQL.
- Experience in high-volume e-commerce or distribution systems is a plus.
- Proactive mindset towards integrating AI tools for efficiency.
