Responsibilities
- Support the definition of modular and scalable software architectures in accordance with RTCA/DO-178C, RTCA/DO-254, and relevant best practices.
- Analyze system specifications and define software implementation and verification strategies, including the decomposition into modules, libraries, and components.
- Define software requirements and design, implement software solutions, and automate testing activities including Requirement Based Tests.
- Design and implement verification systems using host-environment simulators and real platforms, with debugging, tracing, and virtualization technologies.
- Verify software compatibility and suitability for target platforms, including performance, timing, and Stack, RAM, and ROM resource usage.
- Contribute to technical problem analysis and resolution and configuration-change management.
- Collaborate with System Engineering, Software Quality, Software Configuration, Software Certification, Software Safety, Airworthiness, and V&V functions.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or Computer Engineering.
- Junior-level experience.
- Knowledge of hardware architectures and programming languages.
- Knowledge of compilation and debugging environments for microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of MultiCore, interoperability, and compilation and debugging systems.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Problem-solving, communication, stakeholder-interfacing, teamwork, flexibility, adaptability, and proactive working skills.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Knowledge of MathWorks modeling tools is desirable.
