Responsibilities
- Plan, estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities with the team and QA Team Leader.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scenarios, use cases, user stories, test plans, and test reports.
- Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to verify that products meet specified requirements.
- Identify, document, own, resolve, and retest defects according to their lifecycle and impact.
- Design, develop, debug, execute, and maintain automation scripts for each game using the internal automation tool.
- Perform client-side, server-side, API, integration, performance, reliability, usability, security, compatibility, and portability testing.
- Provide stakeholders with quality information to support informed decisions and escalate work-stopping issues when necessary.
- Ensure products comply with applicable regulatory requirements and standards.
- Continuously develop QA-related skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
- Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, processes, and test design techniques.
- Experience testing client-side mobile and web applications and server-side APIs and integrations.
- Understanding of software development life cycle activities, client-server architecture, request/response flow, and data consistency.
- Practical understanding of object-oriented programming principles, database fundamentals, and basic algorithms.
- Working knowledge of SQL, including reading queries, basic joins, and data validation.
- Confident use of JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, and traffic or debugging tools such as Postman, Burp, Fiddler, or Charles.
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
- Preferred: experience with ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, SVN, Git, Bamboo, Jenkins, Chrome DevTools, Xcode, Android Studio, and BrowserStack.
