Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform manual testing for new features, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and reusable automation components.
- Execute automated regression suites, analyze failures, and reduce flaky tests.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts on requirements.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and daily stand-up meetings.
- Identify automation opportunities to improve test coverage.
- Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status.
- Support software quality throughout the SDLC and Agile development process.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong understanding of manual testing practices, including STLC, test case design, functional testing, regression testing, smoke and sanity testing, integration testing, exploratory testing, defect tracking, and requirements analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Java-based automation frameworks, Selenium WebDriver or Playwright, TestNG, Cucumber, and Maven.
- Experience maintaining automation suites and reducing flaky tests.
- Preferred experience with both Selenium and Playwright.
- Preferred experience with Jenkins or another CI/CD tool, REST API testing using Postman or Rest Assured, version control, and Cucumber-based BDD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
