Base Salary
$119k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead QA efforts for IT projects and production support releases.
- Develop test strategies, test plans, test cases, scenarios, and criteria for complex applications.
- Execute functional, API, data validation, integration, regression, stress, ETL, automated, and user acceptance testing.
- Build and run automated test scripts and evaluate results.
- Lead and mentor QA resources and coordinate UAT with business partners.
- Collaborate with project sponsors, business users, project managers, analysts, IT teams, and security administrators to define requirements and mitigate project risks.
- Maintain requirements, specifications, test cases, defect logs, test results, and operational documentation.
- Develop SQL reports, investigate data-related issues, perform root-cause analysis, and communicate defect priorities.
- Ensure security standards are followed and protected health information is not compromised.
Requirements
- Seven or more years of quality assurance experience in IT software development environments.
- Two or more years of experience developing and documenting requirements and directly leading IT QA efforts.
- Three or more years supporting complex applications or technology projects involving custom development, commercial software implementation, integrations, infrastructure upgrades, or organizational change initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Business Administration, or Healthcare, or four additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of the degree.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC methodologies, system integration, data mapping, QA processes, relational databases, development processes, and SQL query writing.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as LEAN, Six Sigma, or TQM.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as .NET; C# development is a plus.
- Knowledge of healthcare data formats including HL7, X12, and NCPDP.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Visio, along with strong analytical, communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
