Responsibilities

Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs and services for money movement requests.
Debug and resolve critical production issues across services.
Collaborate with Engineering Managers to create engineering roadmaps.
Serve as a role model for high engineering standards.
Make informed decisions considering software best practices and stakeholder concerns.
Work with cross-functional teams including product, design, and operations.
Mentor and teach future technical leaders at Stripe.

12+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years in a technical leadership role.
Experience leading teams on API design and developer products.
Proven track record of delivering solutions that drive business growth.
Ability to navigate discussions from high-level to detailed coding.
Strong autonomy and responsibility in work.
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and a growth mindset.
Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and foster psychological safety.
