Base Salary

$46k - $92k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Implement, test, and document software solutions for telecommunications and IP/computer networking equipment in the cybersecurity domain.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to develop concepts, identify solutions, and assess feasibility.
  • Participate in security analysis, software and tool development, software testing, development environment, and system infrastructure activities.
  • Use automation tools, lab test equipment, and protocol analyzers in a telecommunications development laboratory.
  • Debug system-level issues and work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

  • Be a graduating high school senior or currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Networking, or a related field.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Have familiarity with software engineering processes, including requirements reviews, code inspections, system test planning, and system validation.
  • Have familiarity with Windows, Linux, and/or Unix-based development environments.
  • Have software development skills in JavaScript, Python, C, C++, or comparable languages.
  • Have experience using development tools such as editors, compilers, and debuggers.
  • Have knowledge of IP networking and/or telecommunications equipment installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Have some experience debugging system-level issues with laboratory equipment.
  • Preferred qualifications include a GPA of 3.0 or higher, prior internship/co-op or work experience, and professional, community, or extracurricular participation.
