Senior Cloud Network Engineering Specialist (Hybrid)

Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement enterprise-scale cloud network infrastructure.
- Develop Terraform modules using Terraform Enterprise and Terraform Cloud, and integrate cloud services with Morgan Stanley’s on-premises systems.
- Test infrastructure-as-code using tools and frameworks such as Terraform Test.
- Lead cloud network automation and deployment through GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Design and support Kubernetes-based private cloud networks, including ingress, egress, and routing topologies.
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, write technical documentation, and contribute to incident response and root cause analysis.
- Influence cloud adoption strategy and lead cloud networking strategy, architecture, and design decisions.
- Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure and cross-functional technical teams to deliver product-level solutions and operational support.
Requirements
- More than 10 years of experience in engineering, architecture, or development roles.
- More than 7 years of experience with cloud PaaS and/or IaaS platforms.
- Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, Git, Shell scripting or Python, CloudFormation, and Azure Resource Manager.
- Practitioner-level network automation skills using DevOps and CI/CD pipeline practices.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary teams on architecture, features, and problem solving.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and write detailed technical documentation.
- Linux and networking skills.
- Experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift; knowledge of Calico and Cilium CNIs is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer, or GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer are preferred.
- Knowledge of both French and English is required.
