Responsibilities
- Triage bug reports and feature requests, resolve known issues, and escalate novel or high-risk problems with clear context.
- Troubleshoot relational SQL and non-relational database issues, including cross-container data migrations in Cosmos DB.
- Provide primary user support for the internal platform through Slack and the intake board.
- Monitor application health, build alerting, and automate recurring operational tasks.
- Implement features, enhancements, and bug fixes using Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Azure services.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, backlog grooming, release management, deployments, and enterprise application integrations.
- Create and maintain user help content, FAQs, release notes, runbooks, troubleshooting decision trees, and system documentation.
- Write and expand unit, integration, and regression test coverage.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional full-stack software development and/or IT experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js, plus experience with React or a comparable front-end framework.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, Git-based version control workflows, command-line tooling, and debugging.
- Experience using generative AI development tools on at least one platform, such as Claude or Codex.
- Strong written communication, proactive self-directed work habits, and willingness to own support and operational responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or a comparable field, or comparable experience.
- Fluency in English and legal authorization to work in Colombia.
- Preferred experience includes Azure services, CI/CD pipelines, automated unit and integration testing, NoSQL or document databases, and monitoring or observability tools.
- Bonus qualifications include C#/.NET, technical writing or documentation maintenance, and user-facing production application support experience.
