Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and support complex ServiceNow solutions using platform scripting, workflow, catalog, integration, and custom application capabilities.
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow, Databricks, cloud platforms, cybersecurity solutions, data platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Create technical specifications, source-to-target mappings, integration designs, interface specifications, and developer-ready implementation requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex application, integration, workflow, data flow, and production issues across multiple technology layers.
- Conduct code reviews and establish ServiceNow development standards, security requirements, reusable integration patterns, and operational support guidance.
- Provide technical leadership in architecture reviews, design sessions, implementation planning, technology assessments, governance processes, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, supportable, and maintainable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, internal and external development teams, data engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and application teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software development, application architecture, or systems integration experience.
- Deep ServiceNow development experience with Script Includes, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Catalog, Record Producers, Scheduled Jobs, Custom Applications, Import Sets, Transform Maps, REST Integrations, SOAP Integrations, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Expert-level JavaScript development skills within the ServiceNow platform.
- Extensive experience designing integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, OAuth, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, webhooks, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, CMDB design, data models, workflow automation, enterprise application integration, authentication models, and secure data exchange architectures.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, identity providers, cybersecurity tools, analytics platforms, and operational systems.
- Experience creating technical specifications, implementation designs, source-to-target mappings, interface specifications, and integration documentation.
- Strong experience using Jira for backlog management, sprint planning, user story development, release coordination, dependency tracking, requirements management, and technical project execution.
- Experience troubleshooting complex development, integration, workflow, and production issues and reviewing developer code.
- Preferred Python development experience for automation, integration services, API development, data transformation, operational tooling, and reporting solutions.
- Preferred experience integrating ServiceNow with Databricks, data lakes, analytics, reporting, or enterprise data platforms.
- Preferred experience with Azure cloud services, cloud-native integration architectures, ETL/ELT processes, enterprise data pipelines, operational analytics, and financial services or other regulated environments.
