Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated end-to-end tests for network, storage, and related software systems.
- Establish QA automation practices, test coverage, and supporting infrastructure for a new product area.
- Identify risk areas, define effective test scenarios, and keep automated coverage aligned with product changes.
- Investigate issues, document defects, and collaborate with developers to improve product quality.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in QA automation or a similar role.
- Strong Linux and Bash skills.
- Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python or Go.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and experience testing distributed or multi-component systems.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and a practical, proactive approach to learning new tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with block or object storage is preferred.
- Experience with integration and end-to-end testing is preferred.
- Experience with Docker or virtualization technologies is preferred.
- Background in systems, storage, or network administration is preferred.
