Responsibilities
- Test UniFi desktop and mobile applications on iOS, Android, Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Evaluate features from the user’s perspective and identify usability, functionality, and quality issues.
- Discover, reproduce, document, and verify software defects.
- Analyze customer feedback and community reports to reproduce and investigate reported issues.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to improve product quality and release readiness.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows, user experience, and overall product quality.
- Continuously learn about networking, Ubiquiti products, and new technologies.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience testing modern web, desktop, or mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of computer networking, including TCP/IP, common protocols, and network services.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, ownership, and responsibility.
- Experience working with Jira and Confluence.
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix, including SSH and common shell commands.
- Good written English for daily communication and documentation, plus fluency in Czech.
- Preferred: experience with Git and version-control workflows.
- Preferred: experience with performance or stress testing.
- Preferred: programming or scripting experience such as Bash or Python.
- Preferred: experience using AI tools to improve testing efficiency.
