Responsibilities
- Design and evolve APIs, distributed systems and large-scale data pipelines for the Global Sports Library.
- Address engineering challenges involving scalability, entity resolution, data consistency and platform architecture.
- Provide technical leadership by breaking down complex problems, advocating best practices and guiding teammates.
- Collaborate with leaders across disciplines to plan and deliver product enhancements.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pair programming and implementation guidance.
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and help maintain a strong team culture.
- Support efficient, outcome-focused delivery and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in full-stack engineering and cloud-based systems and services.
- Experience translating requirements, creating architectural proposals and guiding engineers through implementation.
- Professional background with C#, GraphQL, Elastic, MongoDB and AWS is preferred.
- Experience with video encoding and on-demand rendering is preferred.
- Technical coaching, mentoring, code review and pair programming experience.
- Interest in sports and familiarity with sports analytics are advantageous.
- Experience working with hybrid or remote teams is preferred.
