Base Salary
$190k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software components and infrastructure.
- Optimize and refactor existing tooling, services, and workflows.
- Conduct comprehensive technical design and code reviews.
- Serve as a technical advisor on software design patterns and best practices.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives and complex projects.
- Develop reusable frameworks and internal APIs for integration.
- Own shared libraries or SDKs used by multiple services.
- Use telemetry and operational data to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and six years of experience, or a Master's degree and four years of experience.
- Four years of experience with REST APIs or gRPC.
- Proficiency in one of the following: Python, Java, C#, Javascript, or C++.
- Experience with Rational Databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker containers, and S3 or Azure Blob Storage.
- Two years of experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools.
