Base Salary
$190k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software components and infrastructure for internal developer platforms and distributed systems.
- Optimize and refactor tooling, services, and workflows to improve developer productivity, performance, fault tolerance, and maintainability.
- Conduct technical design and code reviews for high-impact systems, including secure coding and performance considerations.
- Advise teams on software design patterns and best practices.
- Lead cross-functional technical initiatives spanning multiple services, teams, and domains.
- Develop reusable frameworks and internal APIs and own shared libraries or SDKs used by multiple services and teams.
- Use telemetry, logs, and operational data to identify bottlenecks and guide architectural and prioritization decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with six years of experience, or a master's degree in one of these fields with four years of experience.
- At least four years of experience with REST APIs or gRPC; Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or C++; relational databases and SQL; AWS; Kubernetes and Docker containers; and S3 or Azure Blob Storage.
- At least two years of experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or a similar tool.
