Base Salary
$165k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
- Contribute to architectural discussions to evolve the platform.
- Take ownership of projects from design through production.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver features.
- Identify and drive improvements in system reliability and performance.
- Provide technical guidance to peers across the engineering organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing backend systems.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and databases.
- Proficiency in a modern backend language such as Java or Python.
- Track record of delivering complex technical projects end-to-end.
- Deep expertise in backend domains like databases or scaling systems.
- Passion for building robust, maintainable systems.
