Base Salary
$155k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Perform deep root-cause analysis of production incidents across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
- Use logs, metrics, traces, operational data, queries, and AI-assisted methods to identify causes, patterns, and systemic weaknesses.
- Write clear, structured postmortems and drive corrective actions and long-term reliability improvements with engineering teams.
- Partner with software development and engineering teams to implement permanent fixes and preventive improvements.
- Apply systems thinking to distributed-system failure modes and shift the organization from reactive response toward proactive incident prevention.
- Analyze and visualize operational data using tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, ITSM, or release/change management.
- Background in SRE, support, or QA, with proven experience conducting deep root-cause analysis for production incidents.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end system architecture, including cloud, web applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with observability tools and one or more of T-APM, T-Trace, CatchPoint, or Grafana.
- Experience with AI technologies, Python, SQL, data analytics, Power BI, and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Experience with enterprise release management, change management, and ITSM.
- Preferred BS/BA in Computer Science.
- Preferred experience with Jira Align, JSM, Jira Cloud, and Git in enterprise release/change-management environments.
- Relevant SAFe, Agile, DevOps, or AI/ML certifications are preferred.
