Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure initiatives for complex, large-scale systems.
- Own test strategy and design scalable CI/CD frameworks using Kubernetes on a Tanzu environment.
- Support enterprise application development and automated build and deployment processes.
- Operate and automate containerized systems, Kubernetes platforms, public-cloud services, availability zones, regions, and regional failover.
- Drive automation, release quality, engineering best practices, and GenAI-assisted quality engineering practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise application development, preferably with Java and/or C on Unix/Linux environments.
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE-type role.
- Experience with CI/CD principles, automated build and deployment toolsets, version control systems, Linux, Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Groovy, Python, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with software-defined networking, availability zones, regions, region failover, managed services, PaaS, deployment automation, and public-cloud operations.
- Preferred experience with Azure or other cloud platforms, Jira, Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and Kafka.
