Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure initiatives for complex, large-scale enterprise systems.
- Design scalable CI/CD frameworks using Kubernetes in a Tanzu environment.
- Own test strategy and drive release quality and engineering best practices.
- Automate application builds, deployments, and operational support across containerized and public-cloud environments.
- Support Kubernetes operations, software-defined networking, availability zones, regions, region failover, managed services, and PaaS.
- Drive adoption of GenAI-assisted practices and shape next-generation testing practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience supporting enterprise application development, preferably with Java and/or C on Unix/Linux environments.
- At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps or SRE-type role.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle phases and continuous integration and deployment principles.
- Experience with Jenkins, Maven, Make, Helm, Ansible, and automated build and deployment toolsets.
- Experience with Git or Bitbucket and familiarity with Linux, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience with Bash, Groovy, or Python scripting.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or AKS.
- Experience with Kubernetes, public-cloud operations, deployment automation, managed services, availability zones, regions, and regional failover; Azure is preferred.
- Preferred experience with Atlassian Jira, Elastic stack, Prometheus, Grafana, SQL databases such as Oracle or Postgres, NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, and Kafka.
