Base Salary
$193k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop RL Gyms and assess their usefulness for advancing frontier models.
- Build techniques that advance the state of the art with large language models.
- Support foundational model development in an applied research role.
- Leverage heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate advances in LLMs.
- Lead or contribute to system design, architecture, coding, testing, operations, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Mentor others or serve as a technical lead or engineering team leader.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
