Base Salary
$131k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the vision and define the technical direction for the search platform.
- Design and implement scalable, efficient, low-latency search and retrieval systems.
- Drive innovations to improve developer velocity and reduce time-to-production.
- Deliver production-ready code and services, including performance tuning.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Product, and AI teams to tailor the platform.
- Mentor and guide a growing team of engineers, championing best practices.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 8+ years of industry experience.
- Experience building and operating large-scale low-latency distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals and system design.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java and C++.
- Demonstrated expertise in Information Retrieval, including query serving, indexing, and ranking.
