Base Salary
$143k - $304k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advance trusted execution for AI agents with controlled access to sensitive data and tools, identity, policy enforcement, and auditability.
- Design, implement, and ship cloud services for secure workspaces and governed data access.
- Drive innovation in platform and infrastructure domains, including AI-assisted automation.
- Mentor and guide researchers and engineers while aligning work with Microsoft security priorities.
- Investigate critical security issues and communicate root cause, motivation, and impact to influence product and strategy decisions.
- Partner with engineering teams to validate solutions and translate findings into production systems.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to define platform vision and prioritize customer-focused roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 6+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: 10+ years of experience shipping large-scale software.
- Preferred: Proven ability to define vision, deliver and communicate solutions to complex technical problems.
- Preferred: Experience collaborating across organizations or divisions and bringing people together to achieve shared goals.
