Responsibilities

Own the daily reliability, uptime, performance, and compliance of the Celonis platform.
Monitor and troubleshoot system slowdowns, data extraction failures, data quality issues, broken pipelines, and critical platform problems.
Manage Role-Based Access Control and ensure solutions comply with enterprise security and data privacy policies.
Define and maintain technical standards, naming conventions, data model standards, Object-Centric Data Model guidelines, and platform documentation.
Review and approve technical work from external Celonis consultants and internal IT teams to prevent technical debt and enforce standards.
Provide documentation, access, guidance, and technical support to PI Managers, Value Architects, and Data Analysts.
Occasionally support data integration work or fix critical technical issues when the team is blocked.
Act as the technical point of contact for Enterprise IT, Security teams, and Celonis Vendor Support.
Participate in architecture strategy, technology evaluation, governance, solution reviews, and integration with the existing ecosystem.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of total IT experience in Data Engineering, BI Administration, or Systems Integration.
3–4+ years of hands-on experience managing or developing within Celonis EMS, including environment management, Data Integration, PQL, and platform administration.
Practical understanding of standard SAP ERP tables in at least one core process area such as Procure-to-Pay or Order-to-Cash.
Advanced SQL skills, familiarity with standard API integrations, basic data pipeline concepts, and strong troubleshooting ability.
Experience establishing technical standards, writing documentation, and reviewing other developers’ work for compliance.
Understanding of data privacy and security standards, including GDPR-related considerations.
Ability to communicate technical platform issues to nontechnical stakeholders and provide constructive technical guidance.
Celonis Data Engineer certification or an equivalent technical certification is highly preferred.
