Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems for end-to-end infrastructure supply chain workflows.
- Solve architecture and business problems and translate ambiguous requirements into extensible technical solutions.
- Write modular, testable, production-quality code and contribute across design, reviews, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Collaborate with supply chain planners, hardware engineers, logistics teams, operations managers, and product managers.
- Mentor junior engineers on system design, coding practices, troubleshooting, and design documentation.
- Drive operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, runbooks, incident troubleshooting, and proactive risk mitigation.
- Contribute to supply chain domain systems, demand forecasting, supply optimization, automation, and observability.
- Participate in design reviews, architecture decisions, documentation, knowledge sharing, and technical experimentation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one modern software language such as Java, Python, or TypeScript, or an equivalent language.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design principles.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience covering coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience building distributed systems, microservices architectures, or event-driven platforms at scale.
- Preferred: familiarity with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, Step Functions, ECS/EKS, and related AWS services.
- Preferred: experience with supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing domain systems.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
