Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services supporting certificate issuance and management workflows.
- Develop and enhance applications primarily in C++.
- Build and consume REST APIs across microservice-based systems.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and development teams.
- Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and follow coding standards.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug customer-reported and production issues.
- Diagnose and resolve performance, memory, and scalability issues using debugging and profiling tools.
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server and Cassandra databases.
- Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and object-oriented programming.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design principles, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
- Experience developing or consuming REST APIs and working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
- Basic understanding of Docker containers and containerized application deployments.
- Experience with Git-based source control workflows.
- Hands-on experience with build systems and toolchains such as CMake, Make, MSBuild, GCC/Clang, or Visual Studio.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Application of secure coding practices and methodologies.
- Knowledge of Go is an added advantage.
