Responsibilities
- Develop the main business logic for payment terminals and backend systems using Kotlin.
- Build capabilities for card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, QR-code payments, backend communication, and cash-register integrations.
- Deploy software across Android and Linux-based payment terminals using Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Own features from design and implementation through testing, monitoring, security, and sustainability.
- Use unit, automated, and complete product testing to deliver stable payment solutions.
- Propose platform improvements and contribute to technical projects and team decisions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of cumulative Android/Kotlin development experience.
- At least 3 years of software design and development experience in Kotlin.
- Knowledge of databases including PostgreSQL and SQLite.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Preferred: Kotlin Multiplatform experience, Android experience, C/C++, Python, and knowledge of EMV, ISO8583, or ISO20022 payment standards.
