Base Salary
$230k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and ship secure-by-default systems and controls across product, infrastructure, enterprise, identity, and detection and response domains.
- Partner with product, platform, and infrastructure teams to threat model designs, review code and architectures, and implement security primitives.
- Identify vulnerabilities, investigate suspicious behavior, and improve detection and response workflows across applications, cloud infrastructure, identity, endpoints, and internal systems.
- Build developer-friendly tooling and automate security checks, secure paved paths, vulnerability discovery, and detection and response workflows.
- Own ambiguous, cross-cutting security problems from initial definition through production operation.
Requirements
- Deep security expertise in at least one area such as product security, platform or cloud security, enterprise security, identity, detection and response, or offensive security.
- Ability to apply security expertise across unfamiliar systems and emerging threats while balancing usability, performance, reliability, and security.
- Comfort reading and writing code, understanding production systems, and building pragmatic software solutions to security problems.
- Ability to reason about system design and contribute to APIs, services, and security controls with attention to reliability and maintainability.
- Strong ownership, curiosity, threat-modeling ability, and experience taking complex security problems through production.
- Preferred: experience across multiple security domains or building security frameworks, platforms, or solutions used at scale.
- Preferred: exposure to AI systems or secure-by-default LLM applications and agentic systems.
- Preferred: experience finding or fixing real production security issues and working in 0-to-1 environments.
