Responsibilities
- Define, lead, and execute improvements to database infrastructure for growth, technology evolution, and scaling.
- Help shape the long-term roadmap and make technical decisions for database infrastructure.
- Build and improve database infrastructure tooling and automate operations using Temporal workflows.
- Lead database initiatives spanning multiple company domains.
- Identify and implement infrastructure improvements.
- Participate in an on-call rotation approximately every ninth week.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of programming experience, preferably in Go.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Experience with Kubernetes and deep knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Strong advocacy for automation.
- Effective written and spoken English communication.
- Curiosity, responsibility, and willingness to learn and master the team’s technologies.
