Base Salary
$66k - $146k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable QA automation frameworks using Python and Pytest.
- Develop UI automation with Playwright and perform standalone API testing.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Define test strategies and execute regression, system, sanity, release, and production validation testing.
- Analyze test results, coordinate bug fixes, and uphold software quality standards.
- Perform code reviews, maintain code repositories, and participate in software integration and development activities.
- Conduct AI testing and use AI MCPs where applicable.
- Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
- Maintain documentation covering code, testing techniques, support activities, and knowledge transfer.
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, with progressive specialty experience accepted in lieu of education.
- Hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer or SDET using Python and Pytest.
- Experience with Playwright for UI automation and standalone API testing.
- Strong QA background with knowledge of test strategies and QA processes.
- Experience with AI testing and hands-on use of AI MCPs is expected or beneficial.
- Understanding of QA methodologies, Agile practices, and test data management.
- Ability to work with Product, Development, and DevOps teams and manage end-to-end SDLC activities.
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and environments.
