Base Salary
$170k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own CI/CD, operational workflows, build systems, deployment automation, and development environments.
- Build sandboxed infrastructure, code-context systems, and CI validation for coding agents.
- Create tooling for refactors, migrations, dependency upgrades, test generation, and pull-request triage.
- Drive company-wide adoption of AI-assisted and agentic development through golden paths, templates, and standards.
- Build evaluation and guardrail systems for agent-generated changes.
- Establish and monitor metrics including CI health, time to first pull request, deploy frequency, and agent-merge success.
- Partner with engineers across the organization to turn recurring friction into scalable systems.
Requirements
- Experience building developer tooling, internal platforms, or CI/CD and development-environment infrastructure used by other engineers.
- Strong systems and infrastructure instincts with production coding experience and strong Python and Bash/Unix skills.
- Hands-on experience with modern agentic development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar.
- Ability to drive adoption and change team practices, not merely deliver tools.
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into structured, shipped solutions with minimal guidance.
- Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and delivering ambitious goals.
- High NPS with former teammates is listed as an ideal qualification; applicants do not need to meet every qualification.
