Responsibilities
- Build and maintain consumer mobile features across iOS and Android using React Native.
- Own the React Native codebase from architecture and design through implementation and maintenance.
- Write clean, well-tested, performant React Native code for various devices and OS versions.
- Identify and resolve performance issues in the React Native layer.
- Work with native modules and understand React Native's integration with iOS and Android.
- Participate in the migration from React Native to native iOS and Android where appropriate.
- Conduct code reviews to enhance code quality and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to create high-quality engineering solutions.
- Contribute to mobile testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 3 years of experience using React Native in a production consumer application.
- Strong expertise in React Native, including component architecture and performance optimization.
- Working knowledge of iOS and/or Android platform fundamentals.
- Experience with native modules in React Native applications.
- Solid understanding of mobile application architecture patterns.
- Experience with mobile performance profiling and optimization.
- Experience writing automated tests for React Native applications.
