Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain primarily Azure-based cloud infrastructure, CI/CD systems, and developer tooling using Terraform across development, staging, and production environments.
- Own and evolve RBAC/IAM across cloud infrastructure and application/product layers for a multi-tenant Portal environment.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to increase developer velocity, reliability, and deployment safety.
- Support and improve Kubernetes-based deployment workflows and platform services.
- Build internal tools and observability capabilities that help engineers deliver reliable, performant software at scale.
- Participate in the support and on-call rotation, respond to incidents, support engineers, and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Apply security and networking practices to harden the platform and coach application developers.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on cloud infrastructure experience, ideally with Azure, and production Terraform/IaC experience.
- Strong RBAC/IAM knowledge at the cloud and infrastructure level; application/product IAM or multi-tenancy experience is valuable.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on security and networking fundamentals.
- Experience participating in a support or on-call rotation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coach and guide application developers.
- A product mindset focused on improving developer experience and engineering workflows.
- High autonomy and ownership in a fast-moving engineering environment.
- Experience with multiple cloud providers or cross-cloud IAM across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP is preferred.
- Developer experience or internal tooling experience is preferred.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth engineering environment is preferred.
- Security certifications are a plus but are not required.
