Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and optimize Azure DevOps Server solutions for secure enterprise application delivery.
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for automated builds, testing, validation, and multi-stage deployments.
- Configure boards, backlogs, queries, repositories, permissions, policies, and work item structures.
- Implement branching, merging, continuous integration, continuous delivery, quality gates, and approval workflows.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, configuration issues, performance bottlenecks, and run-history problems.
- Collaborate with developers, testers, operations, infrastructure, and platform teams to integrate delivery tools.
- Document configurations, pipeline templates, operational procedures, and usage guidance.
- Analyze delivery metrics and identify automation and process-improvement opportunities.
- Provide day-to-day support and guidance to delivery teams using Azure DevOps capabilities.
Requirements
- Seven to nine years of professional experience in software development or DevOps engineering.
- Deep hands-on expertise administering and customizing Azure DevOps Server projects, repositories, boards, and release pipelines.
- Experience designing and maintaining pipelines with automated builds, unit tests, integration tests, and multi-stage deployments.
- Understanding of Azure DevOps work item management, backlog organization, sprint planning, and progress tracking.
- Strong programming or scripting skills with PowerShell or similar technologies.
- Experience supporting hybrid work environments and collaborating through digital tools.
- Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated testing, and secure compliant development practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred experience in large multinational organizations using Azure DevOps for cross-team delivery at scale.
- Preferred Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Developer Associate certification.
