Base Salary
$161k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain build-system control components and supporting infrastructure.
- Build database integrations, REST API servlets, web applications, and automated order-import and delivery systems.
- Manage product release branches using source control systems such as Perforce and Git.
- Design and evolve SQL and other databases for product functionality and internal management systems.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements, modify existing software, improve performance, and adapt systems to new hardware and interfaces.
- Engineer tests, integrate features into releases, and support application teams during testing.
- Collaborate with marketing, applications, and order-processing teams to streamline delivery and management systems.
- Support delivery operations and automate fulfillment workflows to reduce manual processing.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science or a related field plus 7 years of related experience, or bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of related experience.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Perl, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and shell scripting.
- Experience building database-driven production systems using Java, Perl, Python, or similar technologies.
- Experience building Java and React web applications that interact with SQL databases through REST services.
- Experience architecting and configuring web and application servers, particularly Tomcat.
- Experience designing and developing SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience designing and building test systems for web and infrastructure systems.
- Experience with Jenkins or an equivalent tool and dashboarding systems such as Grafana.
- Strong problem-solving, creativity, initiative, communication, and cross-team leadership skills.
- Fluency working with and scripting tasks on Windows and Linux systems.
- Strong understanding of operating systems and computer architecture.
