Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and build production-ready agentic workflows, orchestration layers, and tool-calling integrations.
- Move AI prototypes into scalable, low-latency production microservices on Azure.
- Implement MCP, advanced RAG patterns, vector pipelines, structured LLM outputs, and related AI standards.
- Establish LLMOps practices for experiment tracking, evaluations, prompt engineering, latency optimization, token governance, and model observability.
- Benchmark emerging models, tools, and architectures and translate useful developments into production implementations.
- Lead technical design reviews, set coding standards, mentor agent-focused engineering squads, and support team growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience building agentic systems with frameworks such as Microsoft Agent Framework, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI Agents SDK, or custom orchestration frameworks.
- Practical experience with MCP, tool or function calling, structured LLM outputs, complex RAG pipelines, vector retrieval, hybrid search, and embeddings.
- Experience with evaluation frameworks, prompt engineering, tracing, context-window optimization, and compute or token governance in production.
- High proficiency in Python and strong object-oriented programming experience.
- Experience building and scaling backend microservices and REST/OpenAPI endpoints in Azure or comparable enterprise cloud environments.
- Familiarity with vector databases, relational databases, and event-driven systems such as Azure Service Bus and Kafka.
- Comfort with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, testing methodologies, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep.
- Strong hands-on software engineering, architecture, communication, mentoring, and technical leadership abilities.
