Responsibilities
- Define and own the enterprise monitoring, observability, and SRE strategy.
- Architect and standardize monitoring pipelines, alert correlation, incident routing, paging integrations, CMDB alignment, and service mapping.
- Lead adoption of SRE principles including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, reliability engineering, and resilience design.
- Drive automated remediation and self-healing workflows using Dynatrace, Azure services, and automation frameworks.
- Own Dynatrace and ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM integration, including incident management, event management, CMDB synchronization, tagging, and routing standards.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to SRE, platform, application, cloud, and ITSM teams.
- Establish KPIs for incident response, alert quality, paging effectiveness, monitoring coverage, and service reliability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in site reliability engineering, monitoring, or production engineering.
- Experience in a technical leadership or lead engineer role.
- Deep hands-on experience with Dynatrace or an equivalent observability platform, Microsoft Azure, and ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM.
- Experience designing and leading enterprise monitoring or SRE architectures and making platform and tooling decisions.
- Experience integrating observability, ITSM, and paging solutions.
- Preferred: experience leading SRE or observability transformation initiatives and modernizing paging or on-call tooling.
- Preferred: familiarity with Azure-based SRE tooling, AI-assisted operations, automation frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep.
