Responsibilities
- Develop, refine, and maintain core modules of the iOS HyBid SDK with attention to memory constraints, thread safety, backward compatibility, and host-application compatibility.
- At the senior level, own SDK architecture, delivery mechanisms, foundational stability, distribution strategy, and technical-debt reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders on requirements, effort estimation, prioritization, and SDK roadmaps.
- Read and compare Kotlin and Java code to maintain behavioral parity with the Android implementation.
- Manage privacy manifest configurations, SKAdNetwork metadata architectures, binary-size validation, peer reviews, implementation documentation, and technical guidance.
- Build and validate framework bundles for Swift Package Manager while supporting legacy distribution channels and leading the migration from CocoaPods to SPM.
- Develop isolated telemetry modules that securely capture SDK-specific runtime faults without intercepting host-application crash frameworks.
- Build and optimize ad-rendering modules and monetization adapters, especially for AppLovin MAX, using Objective-C and Swift layout integrations.
- Maintain GitHub Actions workflows, write unit and integration tests, and validate execution on BrowserStack and Sauce Labs cloud test environments.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional iOS application engineering experience for Engineer II, or 6+ years of specialized iOS software development experience for Senior Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with framework development, module creation, or shared developer utilities distributed to external clients.
- For senior-level work, experience deploying, optimizing, and scaling .framework and .xcframework binaries consumed by third-party applications.
- Strong operational capability with Swift and Objective-C, including ARC, Instruments, multithreading, and asynchronous protocol layers.
- Understanding of SDK-specific constraints and delivery into varied host application environments.
- Ability to navigate Android Kotlin and Java code for comparative logic and feature-parity troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with GCP / Google Cloud and safe, pragmatic use of AI development tools such as Copilot and LLMs.
- For senior-level work, a record of independently leading architectural refactoring, framework transitions, and technical-debt reduction.
- For senior-level work, master-level proficiency bridging modern Swift with legacy Objective-C and expert knowledge of iOS runtime mechanics, ARC, and GCD.
- Ability to translate designs and structured tickets into clean, test-backed, reliable software components.
