Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance Java applications.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership and guide distributed or global teams in implementing robust solutions.
  • Implement solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Ensure software architecture, code quality, security, engineering standards, and technical governance best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into efficient technical solutions.
  • Perform troubleshooting, performance optimization, and incident-resolution support.
  • Mentor team members and promote technical growth, autonomy, and collaboration.
  • Support delivery in highly critical environments while ensuring quality, resilience, and deadlines.
  • Contribute to the evolution of enterprise architectures in the financial-services sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Advanced English proficiency at C1/C2 level for communication in an international environment.
  • Solid experience as a Java Tech Lead or Senior Java Developer in large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Experience developing scalable, resilient, and high-performance Java applications.
  • Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
  • Practical experience with cloud environments, especially AWS.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and enterprise architecture.
  • Experience leading distributed or global technical teams.
  • Ability to work in dynamic, complex, high-pressure environments with resilience and sound decision-making.
  • Experience in financial services, especially Wealth & Asset Management, is a differentiator.
  • Familiarity with GenAI and prompt engineering is a differentiator.
  • Certifications in Java, AWS, Spring Framework, or microservices architecture are advantageous.
