Responsibilities
- Advise product development teams on secure coding, vulnerability management, and secure software development lifecycle practices.
- Support adoption and analysis of SAST, SCA, IAST, and CNAPP application security tooling.
- Conduct threat modeling using STRIDE, PASTA, and MAESTRO frameworks.
- Lead security design reviews and develop secure application architecture guidance.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, audit, compliance, and business stakeholders to implement product security controls.
- Maintain audit-ready security evidence and oversee responses to regulatory and customer audit findings.
- Present product security updates and educate colleagues and stakeholders on secure coding and architecture practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, product security, or security architecture in a technology-related industry.
- At least 3 years of information security experience in a hybrid cloud environment.
- In-depth experience with secure coding, threat modeling, secure architecture design, and secure software development and CI/CD pipelines.
- Prior software development or engineering experience.
- Experience identifying and advising on remediation of application security vulnerabilities in cloud and web-based applications.
- Experience presenting to senior technology and information security executives and influencing stakeholders.
- Experience with frameworks and standards including OWASP, PCI, CIS, and NIST.
- BA/BS degree in computer science or a related technology field.
- CISSP, SSCP, or CSSLP information security certifications are preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 15% of the time.
