Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable Go, NodeJS, or Python services with strong security, performance, documentation, and maintainability standards.
- Design automated test cases for new features and legacy services and promote automated quality gates.
- Collaborate with Product Management and UX to refine requirements, evaluate technical feasibility, and align the engineering roadmap with business value.
- Define alerts and runbooks supporting reliable, zero-downtime deployments for distributed operations.
- Improve engineering processes and use automation and AI-assisted tools such as code generation, test generation, and dependency tracing.
- Provide technical leadership and facilitate decision-making across geographically distributed teams.
- Participate in assigned on-call shifts and respond to alerts.
Requirements
- 8+ years of industry programming experience delivering complex, scalable, production-quality software products end to end.
- Proficiency in Go, NodeJS, and/or Python, with willingness to learn VueJS for full-stack integration.
- Deep understanding of authorization and IAM technologies including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and IAM systems.
- Aptitude for Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and understanding of cloud technology concepts.
- Ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed, asynchronous team using written documentation and GitOps practices.
- Strong organizational, technical leadership, communication, consensus-building, and cross-functional decision-making skills.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
