Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on Azure for high availability, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of the CloudOps platform and software-defined operations infrastructure.
  • Establish a strategic roadmap to accelerate software delivery and improve operational performance.
  • Promote Kubernetes and cloud-native best practices to simplify architecture and operations.
  • Profile Kubernetes code and workflows to reduce resource consumption and improve performance.
  • Implement GitOps workflows with ArgoCD, multi-cloud or hybrid environments with Crossplane, and multi-cluster deployments with Karmada.
  • Administer, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux server environments.
  • Build proof-of-concept Kubernetes solutions on Azure and support database, DNS, CDN, and cloud-service integrations.

Requirements

  • More than 6 years of hands-on DevOps experience, excluding academic projects, or more than 10 years of system administration experience.
  • A university degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Strong practical experience configuring, managing, and deploying Kubernetes clusters on Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift OCP or OPP, or prior hands-on OpenShift experience.
  • Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Expertise with ArgoCD, Crossplane, and Karmada.
  • Proficiency in Linux server administration and troubleshooting.
  • Database experience with SQL, MySQL, or PostgreSQL in relation to Kubernetes deployments.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda, Makefile or Taskfile, DNS hosting and management, and CDN services such as Cloudflare or CloudFront.
  • Professional proficiency in English and strong collaboration, communication, analytical, problem-solving, adaptability, and prioritization skills.
