Responsibilities
- Design, build, and improve secure, scalable platform capabilities for cloud-native software delivery across on-premises and public cloud environments.
- Automate deployments, integrations, and infrastructure provisioning using platform engineering, GitOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Deploy, support, and enhance Kubernetes-based platforms and standardized self-service tooling.
- Troubleshoot platform and application issues, provide Level III support, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Partner with software engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams on architecture, standards, and modernization initiatives.
- Use AI-enabled developer and productivity tools for automation, scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, and code review.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container-based delivery, Argo CD, Crossplane, Terraform, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI, including cloud infrastructure, architecture, and platform integration.
- Programming or scripting experience with Go, Python, and/or JavaScript/Node.js, plus practical use of Bash, Linux, and Windows tooling.
- Understanding of REST APIs, web, security and networking protocols, observability, incident response, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
- Experience with Docker, Datadog or Langsmith, and secure delivery practices including vulnerability remediation.
- Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools and ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, maintainability, and responsible use.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes AWS EKS, Azure AKS, JFrog Artifactory, AWS Secrets Manager, HashiCorp Vault, Komodor, Tigera Calico Enterprise, CAST AI, shared platforms, developer enablement, web applications, web services, API platforms, data platforms, AI/ML cloud services, AIOps, intelligent alerting, operational analytics, or Python-based AI automation.
