Base Salary
$109k - $144k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own application security vulnerability management and partner with engineering teams on triage and remediation code fixes.
- Configure, tune, and monitor cloud security operations tools to detect and respond to threats.
- Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for internal architecture, third-party vendors, and APIs.
- Maintain corporate workspace security, including identity and access management, device compliance, and productivity tools.
- Advocate for secure coding, establish secure defaults, mentor engineers, and design scalable security frameworks.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering and/or cybersecurity experience.
- Strong foundation in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Hands-on Clojure and JVM experience, including reading functional code and working with immutable data structures.
- Hands-on experience securing modern cloud infrastructure and conducting incident response.
- Ability to investigate root causes and design preventive security frameworks in dynamic environments.
- Required baseline certification such as CompTIA Security+ or an equivalent.
- CISSP or another advanced security credential is highly preferred.
