Base Salary

$109k - $144k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Partner with development teams to triage application security vulnerabilities in a high-scale Clojure ecosystem and assist with code-level remediation.
  • Configure, fine-tune, and monitor cloud security operations tools including SIEM, SOAR, CSP, and CNAPP capabilities.
  • Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for internal architecture, third-party vendors, and APIs.
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure, respond to security alerts and incidents, and identify root causes.
  • Maintain corporate workspace security, including identity access management, device compliance, and productivity tools.
  • Promote secure coding practices, establish secure defaults, mentor engineers, and make scalable risk decisions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of software engineering and/or cybersecurity experience.
  • Strong foundation in computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Hands-on Clojure coding experience in the JVM environment, including reading functional code and working with immutable data structures.
  • Hands-on experience securing modern cloud infrastructures and responding to incidents.
  • Baseline security certification such as CompTIA Security+ or an equivalent certification.
  • CISSP or another advanced security credential is highly preferred.
  • Strong organization, self-motivation, problem-solving, writing, collaboration, and communication skills.
