Responsibilities
- Serve as a foundational engineer for the Dashboard and its backend infrastructure.
- Design, build, and scale reliable, high-performance web applications using Python and Django.
- Develop user-facing frontend features with React.
- Own projects from technical design and implementation through rollout and iteration.
- Influence architectural decisions, engineering standards, and best practices.
- Balance delivery speed and quality while optimizing for long-term maintainability.
Requirements
- Strong track record of building, shipping, and maintaining production web applications.
- Deep experience with Python and Django.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.
- Familiarity with NodeJS, Go, Ruby, or other server-side languages is welcome.
- High standards for clean, documented, testable, and readable code.
- Ability to collaborate across Design, Marketing, and Engineering.
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, Go, Kafka, GCP, or AWS is a bonus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a bonus.
- Experience in a fast-growing startup environment and passion for 3D printing are bonuses.
