Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and supportable software solutions.
- Improve application performance, user experience, and development processes.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Translate design concepts into accessible, standards-compliant web experiences with engineering and user experience teams.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and long-term architectural decisions.
- Participate in sprint planning, standups, reviews, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.
- Maintain code quality, operational excellence, and ongoing support of delivered software.
- Use AI-assisted tools and experiment with emerging capabilities to improve delivery and quality.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience designing and developing applications with Java.
- Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, Angular, CSS, and HTML.
- Experience with Tomcat, Linux, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and/or Cosmos DB.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented development principles and software engineering best practices.
- Experience developing and integrating services and APIs, using source control tools such as Git, and working with continuous integration systems.
- Familiarity with cloud application development on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Ability to deliver secure, high-quality, operable software.
