Base Salary
$161k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own meaningful product areas from idea through production.
- Build across frontend interfaces and backend services for onboarding, benefits management, and payments.
- Translate user and business needs into pragmatic technical solutions.
- Uphold high standards for code quality, system design, and product polish.
- Take responsibility for production systems, including reliability, debugging, and continuous improvement.
- Ship quickly while maintaining correctness and long-term maintainability.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping production web applications across the full stack.
- Strong product judgment and comfort working through ambiguity.
- Ability to reason about complex systems and business logic.
- Familiarity with modern engineering tools and frameworks.
- Track record of ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and sound technical decision-making.
- Experience in healthcare, finance, or other complex or regulated domains is valued.
- Experience with HR, payroll, payments, or partner-facing systems is valued.
- Ownership of systems with real operational or financial impact is valued.
- Prior Ruby experience is helpful but not required.
