Responsibilities
- Provide functional leadership, daily guidance, work allocation, mentoring, and career feedback to a team of field engineers.
- Remain hands-on by architecting and delivering custom integrations, automations, data pipelines, and production-grade client solutions.
- Design and implement ADX and Databricks data infrastructure for client onboarding and analytics.
- Build Python-based ETL pipelines, API integrations, data validation frameworks, and automation tooling.
- Develop AI, LLM, and machine-learning-enabled automation for data transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
- Coordinate simultaneous client engagements, resolve issues, escalate blockers, and maintain stakeholder alignment.
- Translate client requirements into scalable solutions through discovery, prototyping, and iterative delivery.
- Improve team tools, workflows, frameworks, and best practices to increase delivery efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Services teams on productization opportunities and platform roadmap influence.
- Act as a technical advisor and trusted partner to clients.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or forward-deployed technical roles.
- Demonstrated experience guiding, mentoring, or leading engineers.
- Advanced Python proficiency with production application, API, and data-pipeline development experience.
- Strong understanding of API authentication patterns and integration architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, distributed data processing, SQL, and large-scale relational and NoSQL datasets.
- Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and implementing complex data transformations.
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools and experience implementing LLM-driven automation solutions.
- Strong knowledge of financial data domains, including portfolio management, performance analytics, and multi-asset portfolios.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
- Strong communication, technical presentation, organization, prioritization, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on delivery with team coordination, feedback, mentoring, and developing people-management skills.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
