Responsibilities
- Act as a senior technical authority for quality engineering and shape quality standards, strategy, and execution across the platform.
- Mentor AI-enabled QA Engineers through code and test review, pairing, and hands-on technical guidance.
- Build AI-driven testing workflows, automation frameworks, validation tooling, and CI/CD quality gates.
- Own feedback from dogfooding, customer A/B testing, customer feedback, and bug reporting to improve coverage and product decisions.
- Partner with Engineering and Product to improve testability, define acceptance criteria, and build quality into development early.
- Use AI, data, metrics, and analytics to expand edge-case coverage, summarize failures, and inform release and roadmap decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SDET or quality engineering roles, including significant hands-on coding and ownership of test strategy and release quality.
- Strong programming skills in at least one of TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python, with experience building production-quality tooling and frameworks.
- Experience with automation, API and integration testing, regression strategy, CI/CD-based quality workflows, test design, and risk-based coverage.
- Ability to evaluate what should be automated versus explored manually and use analytics to assess quality, risk, and trends.
- Experience driving quality initiatives across teams and influencing Engineering, Product, and customer-facing stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Preferred: experience testing AI and LLM-powered systems, including non-deterministic behavior, hallucinations, prompt or workflow regressions, and generative product quality issues.
- Preferred: experience in an FDE, delivery, or professional services environment with customer-facing implementation workflows.
